Backups & recovery

Take an offline world and configuration backup before an upgrade, a deployment-role change, or a tier-catalog change. Configuration migration creates a sidecar backup; world SavedData migration relies on the operator's full world backup.

Never copy an authority world's gym SavedData onto a satellite, or merge world-state files from different backends.
