Brecher Trainers
Brecher Trainers adds persistent Cobblemon trainer battles, player-created gyms, league progression, rewards, rankings, showcases, shops, and native trainer entities to Minecraft 1.21.1. The same gameplay core supports Fabric and NeoForge.
Main features
- Native, datapack-defined trainer entities and Cobblemon battle actors
- Stateful player-created gyms with linking, reset, reward, and cooldown flows
- League Points, optional progression tiers, creator dividends, rankings, and rotating showcases
- Physical gym badges with datapack definitions and an earned-badge gallery
- Tier-aware shops, gym teleportation, and Badge Box browsing
- Transactional configuration reload and automatic 2.x data migration
- Available on both Fabric and NeoForge
Requirements
- Minecraft 1.21.1 and Java 21
- Cobblemon 1.8.0 or newer in the 1.8 line (below 1.9.0)
- Brecher Core 0.4.3 is bundled; a separate Core jar is not required
- Fabric: Fabric Loader 0.17.2+, Fabric API, Fabric Language Kotlin, and Architectury API
- NeoForge: NeoForge 21.1.x, Kotlin for Forge 5.10+, and Architectury API
Radical Cobblemon Trainers (RCT) is not required; Brecher Trainers' runtime has no RCT or RCT API linkage.
Installation
Install the jar for your loader, plus the remaining loader and Cobblemon
dependencies, in both the server and the client mods directories. Proxy
networks must use the same Brecher Trainers version and the same league tier
catalog on every backend. Back up a world before upgrading an existing
installation — see Upgrading from 2.x.
On first start the mod creates its configuration under
config/brecher_trainers/. league.yaml defaults to STANDALONE; see
Deployment modes for proxy networks.
